SL and IMF begin talks today

The Sri Lankan delegation and officials of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will begin discussions in Washington, DC today (19).
The delegation, led by the Finance Minister Ali Sabry, consists of Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe and Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Mahinda Siriwardena.
If discussions with the IMF are successful, Sri Lanka is expected to receive approximately USD 4 billion.
