Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa says he is confident that a strict and impartial investigation into the recent police shooting at Rambukkana will be carried out by Police.
The Premier said he is deeply distressed over yesterday’s unrest.
He also urged protesters to engage in their civic right with equal respect and honour.
