Over 20 new State Minsters sworn in

A total of 21 State Ministers were sworn in before President Gotabaya Rajapaksa a short while ago.
Accordingly, the following appointments were made:
- State Minister of Defence - Prof. G.L. Peiris
- State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Govt - Rohana Dissanayake
- State Minister of Plantations - Arundika Fernando
- State Minister of Urban Development - Lohan Ratwatte
- State Minister of Foreign Affairs - Tharaka Balasooriya
- State Minister of Housing - Indika Anuruddha
- State Minister of Water Supply - Sanath Nishantha
- State Minister of Mahaweli - Siripala Gamlath
- State Minister of Irrigation - Anuradha Jayaratne
- State Minister of Indigenous Medicine - Sisira Jayakodi
- State Minister of Industires - Prasanna Ranaweera
- State Minister of Tourism, State Minister of Fisheries - D.V. Chanaka
- State Minister of Livestock - D.B. Herath
- State Minister of Cultural Affairs and Performing Arts - Geetha Kumarasinghe
- State Minister of Rural Economic Crop Cultivation and Promotion - Khadar Masthan
- State Minister of Trade - Ashoka Priyantha
- State Minister of Estate Housing and Community Infrastructure - Aravind Kumar
